What is the difference between an integrator and an implementer?

An Implementer is a trained coach or consultant who helps companies implement an organization's framework. They work externally to guide leadership teams through the process of adopting and integrating goal-centered principles.  Their key responsibilities include coaching on performance tools, facilitating clarity and alignment, is an objective third party, leads implementation sessions, and provides ongoing support.

An Integrator is an internal leader within the company responsible for executing the vision set by the leadership team. They are often the COO or equivalent and work within the organization to ensure that the company’s processes and goals are aligned.  Their key responsibilities include day-to-day operations, aligning departments, ensures accountability, identifies and provides solutions to problems, and provides tactical execution.

Why wouldn’t I just hire a full-time person?

If you have a great full-time person available, that may be the best choice for your company. But if not, we can step in and make a significant impact right away. We’ve handled a wide range of challenges for multiple companies, we’re experts with EOS® tools, and we’re skilled at uncovering hidden issues and resolving them. A seasoned executive with this skill set would cost at least $200,000 per year. We provide this expertise for far less, with less risk, and we stay in the role until you’re ready to make the bigger investment.

3

What value can we expect from hiring an interim integrator?

Our guarantee is that you will get stronger in the six EOS® components: Vision, People, Data, Issue Solving, Process, and Traction. While specific goals vary by company, common outcomes include getting the right people on the leadership team, aligning the company structure, using EOS® tools like scorecards and rocks effectively, documenting and following processes, ensuring the Visionary is focused on their strengths, and solving key issues. Once this is achieved, we help you search for our replacement and hold the position until the perfect long-term partner is in place.

4

What is an Integrator in the EOS® system?

An Integrator takes the Visionary’s ideas, clarifies and filters them, and then works through the leadership team to execute that vision. The Integrator ensures that every part of the leadership team is aligned and moving toward the company’s goals, making sure that the Visionary's big ideas become actionable plans.

5

How long do you typically serve as an interim integrator?

Our engagements typically last between 3 and 6 quarters, but we’ve served for as little as one quarter and as long as 8. The length of time depends on your company’s needs, the complexity of your business, and how long it takes to find and onboard a permanent Integrator.

6

Can you help find a permanent integrator for my company?

Yes, after serving as your interim Integrator, we’ll have a clear understanding of your company’s needs. We’ll guide you on how to find the right person, whether that’s through a search firm, an independent search, or by identifying someone already within your organization. We stay on board until the new Integrator is fully in place to ensure a smooth transition.

7

What industries do you have experience working with?

EOS® is industry-agnostic, so we’ve worked in a wide variety of fields, including environmental services, clothing and fashion design, hospitality, manufacturing, marketing, education, healthcare, and the legal profession. We love learning about new industries, and working in a new field is always an exciting challenge for us.

8

What does a typical day look like as an interim integrator?

A typical day starts with a series of meetings: a same-page meeting with the Visionary and one-on-one meetings with the leadership team. After that, we lead the Level 10 leadership meeting. Throughout the day, we also focus on rolling out EOS® to other departments, ensuring that processes are documented and followed, and bringing in new team members when necessary.
